Hire Our Hall & Campsite

Our Scout hut and camp site is available for hire!

Facilities available include a small car park, our scout hut with kitchen and toilets, forrested area with campfire hollow and areas to ‘wild camp’ or bivvy amongst the trees, as well as a camping and activity field and pioneering poles.

The hall is behind the Victoria Memorial Hall Club, off Church Road, Garston, L19 2LW. (Next door to the South Liverpool NHS treatment Centre) See this map for details.

It is less than 6 miles from Liverpool Lime Street Station, with regular bus (80, 80A, 82, 86, 86A) and train links to very nearby (Liverpool South Parkway).The 80A bus route connects to Liverpool John Lennon Airport. From leaving the M6 for Runcorn at J20, it is less than a half an hour drive to us. (Behind the Victoria Memorial Hall Club, off Church Road, Garston, L19 2LW)

Here at 6th Allerton, we have a large field and forest area which is a council approved campsite. It has been used by various national and Irish scout groups in the past when visiting Liverpool.

What’s Nearby?

Nearby attractions inlude Liverpool itself, including the docks, the Beatles heritage, both of our amazing cathedrals, the Museum of Liverpool, the Merseyside Maritime Museum, the International Slavery Museum, and the World Museum.

The famous Mersey Ferries cruises are unique to Liverpool and a great way to see the city. Stop off at Spaceport to explore all things intergalactic, or U-Boat Story for a fascinating insight into a World War II German submarine. Amongst many other exhibits, Fort Perch Rock Marine Radio Museum now has a replica of the Titanic Radio Signaling room available for public viewing.
